Blueserve Facilities was born back in 2010 due to a previous employer going into administration and all employees being made redundant with no notice. Mark was busy working from day one of being made redundant building the foundations along with the help of key personal who joined in this journey in forming what has become a very successful company. Within days Blueserve’s inception we employed 3 highly qualified engineers who were also made redundant by the same company to cover contracts they already had sealed. All 3 engineers still work for Blueserve today.
Within a couple of years, the electrical company grew from being NICEIC approved accredited to obtaining SSAIB and BAFE accreditations.
Due to the ever present demands of our clients Blueserve then formed a Building Maintenance Division securing Safecontractor and Constructionline accreditations.
To the present day, the company continues to employ further engineers and office staff to build the company they are today. Blueserve Facilities caters for all types of Electrical and Building Services. The secret for success was simple; hiring highly competent engineers, efficient management, and a target for 100% customer satisfaction.
Our engineers are all employed wearing Blueserve company uniform and drive our famous Blueserve printed vans. All engineers carry identification and have under gone various background vetting prior to being offered a contract of employment. We undergo various security checks of our engineers and directors throughout the year so for peace of mind our team can be trusted in your place of work or home. Many of our clients are happy to open up to let us in to start work in the morning and leave us to work without supervision of the client. We fully understand if you would prefer to supervise our engineers. Some trades and works carried out may be by our approved sub-contractors or partners. If this is he case, they have undergone similar security processes to our own employed engineers. You shall be informed if we intend to use our approved sub-contractors or partners.
We have a very low staff employment turn over within our company as we strongly believe in investing in our staff and keeping up a great team morale which motivates our team to work hard to ultimately provide our fantastic service to our customers. A lot of our staff have been with us in the first two years of trading and we look forward to having them with us for many years to come. Any new engineers undergo a vigorous approval process which involves working with a senior engineer for a couple of weeks before working alone. We wouldn’t allow a new engineer work in your place of business or home without being happy that they are representing our high standards and reputation.
We are a great supporters of apprenticeships and we actively employ apprentices and trainees which is a vital part of our business growth. Apprentices will always be supervised by a qualified engineer and all work undertaken by an apprentice or trainee shall be the responsibility of the qualified supervising engineer. It is in the engineers interest to make sure they are happy to accept the apprentices or trainees work as their own. The apprentices or trainees are however treated as engineers to encourage them to understand the responsibilities of an engineer but with the required help and encouragement. Apprentices will never be left alone to carry out work they are not competent to do so. We work with an apprenticeship scheme JTL who audit our processes and monitor the apprentices training scheme.
We post various information about customer appraisals of individual engineers and these can also be found in our customer reviews so if you wish to have a particular engineer please just ask.
Our head office is now based in Mitcham, Surrey which we moved to in 2018. Our first office was in Chessington and moved to Sutton which we quickly outgrew and took new premises in Croydon before settling in Mitcham, Surrey / South London base that is now the heart of our operation. We primarily cover London, within the M25 and surrounding areas and the South East of England. Depending on the type of work and contract we do cover further afield and have current contracts in the South of England, Wales and Nationwide. We do like to look after our neighbours which we consider to be CR, KT and RH post codes plus nearby surrounding post codes in which we offer discounted labour rates which we can offer due to simple logistics.

Free no obligation quotations are available for installation works and pre-planned maintenance (PPM) packages . Some small works may be able to be quoted over the telephone so please inform our customer service of the required works when telephoning our office or emailing us. Survey days and times are Monday to Friday (not including bank holidays or during or Christmas break period) 8am to 4pm. The contract manager carrying out the survey may be able to visit outside of these times to be flexible to suit your availability. A survey consists of reviewing your required work, looking at your premises, making measurements and discussing how we would carry out the work. This may include multiple options depending on what we feel would be best for you. The contract manager shall email you a written electronic quotation listing the proposed works for you to review. We aim to send you any quotation within 2 working days but this depends on the complexity of the quotation and the contract managers availability. We require acceptance of the quotation within writing or via an email. A free no obligation quotation cannot be provided for faults or if any physical works are required during the survey as this would require an engineer visit with tools and plant. Instead we shall ask you some information on the telephone to give us a clear idea of what the fault consists of or the survey requirement so we can prepare any materials needed prior to visiting your premises to save you cost. We are happy to make sure we have fast moving materials on the van relating to your fault. You will be quoted our call out rates for fault finding or physical surveys which can also be found on our call out rates page. Look on the page to see if you qualify for a discounted rate. Free no obligation quotation are subject to availability and we reserve the right to refuse any survey.
We are able to provide some quotations over the telephone for works such as portable appliance testing (PAT), Electrical Installation Conditions Reports (EICR), replacement light fittings and many more. We ask for your email address and contact telephone number so we can email you the quoted price over the telephone. This is so if you call back to accept the quotation we have a written trace of agreed prices as different contract managers are able to provide various offers based on the area, type and date of the work. All telephone quotations still require in writing or email confirmation of you accepting the works including for call outs.
